Micromaster downsizing is a process used by Cybertronions that involves downsizing the subject into a smaller, more fuel efficient body. The process was made as joint project between the Autobots and Decepticons after the battle that damaged Cybertrons core and caused it to lose much of it's natural energon. This means that the Micromaster process is one the most recent body-changing operations created.

Micromasters, while small, are prized in the Autobot and Decepticon armies because of their many stealth capabilties. They are also far more agile then normal Transformers. There are reports of groups of Micromasters bringing down full-sized Transformers using their superior speed to wear them down. The Micromaster process is currently incapable of being used for Gobotronions, but the Renegade scientist Bugbite is reportedly experimenting to create a Gobot-equivilent.

However there is a lingering mystery concerning Micromasters. Micromasters recieved alt modes from scans taken from the Golden Disk. This left the Micromasters with strange, alien alt modes. The planet these alt modes came from was recently discovered to be Earth. Despite the fact that the Micromasters recieved those alt modes thousands of years before any of the vehicles their based on existed....
